The following are tools and information to assist both college scouts and Fort Worth United Soccer Club members in their recruiting endeavors.

For College Scouts

Fort Worth United Soccer Club, the oldest and largest competitive soccer club in Fort Worth, is dedicated to the ongoing development of soccer skills for both young men and young women.  Our coaching staff is the largest, most experienced coaching staff in Fort Worth and our new, structured player development programs are producing quality players with the ability to compete at the highest level of play.

The following will assist you in your quest for a college scholarship.  Begin with Recruiting Basics to learn how the recruiting process works, what coaches are looking for, differences in NCAA divisions, etc.  Next, use the online College Recruit Checklist to track your progress, access specialized resources required for each step of the recruiting process, and to record recruiting contact notes.

Sample Recruit Letters Obtaining a college scholarship requires that you take the initiative and contact the coaches.  It also requires frequent follow-ups as you update coaches on your status and game schedules.  The following are sample college recruit cover letters and e-mail communications that you may use as templates in your endeavor.
